HistoryFiona M. Snody's practice emphasizes business transactions and contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporations and limited liability entities, and civil and commercial litigation.
Ms. Snody advises and represents clients on a regular basis with respect to the negotiation and drafting of contracts relating to business transactions, real estate development, employment and consulting relationships, computer software development, intellectual property, environmental regulations, shareholder agreements, and other matters. Many of her clients are the owners of successful family-held and owner-managed businesses.
Ms. Snody also has experience in complex mergers and acquisitions and has represented clients engaged in a wide variety of businesses, including sales, manufacturing, technology research and development, radio broadcasting, and numerous other fields. In the course of her representation Ms. Snody works with accountants, business brokers, and other professionals to ensure that all aspects of the client's goals are achieved.
For clients embarking on new business ventures, Ms. Snody provides advice and guidance with respect to choice of entity issues. From the formation of the new entity through to its sale, merger, or other disposition, Ms. Snody assists clients in maintaining their business entities and ensuring that protection from personal liability is enhanced.
Ms. Snody has also participated in the firm's successful representation of numerous clients in complex litigation in state and federal court in Colorado. In this regard, as a member of the firm's litigation team, Ms. Snody has prepared successful pleadings, motions, and briefs dealing with intricate legal issues. During law school, Ms. Snody received two American Jurisprudence Awards for Contracts. |
